What's Happening in Riverside, CA…

Annual lunar festival to light up Riverside skies

Riverside will once again be celebrating its annual Lunar Festival in January, and similar to previous years, many residents are expected to attend. Guests will enjoy on-site entertainment, live music, and a handful of new attractions that were not present in previous gatherings.

The 14th Annual Riverside Lunar Festival is primarily meant to celebrate Asian culture, and to pay testament to the impacts that these people have had on the community over the years. One of the main attractions has always been the famous lion dances, and yet, other amenities will be presented this January.

This year will feature live K-pop music, traditional Chinese dances, carnival rides for children, an artisan market that offers up a host of unique handmade goods, and classic Asian street foods. There is likewise an interactive workshop that individuals who wish to learn the subtle art of calligraphy can attend.

Annual celebrations will normally rely on standard marketing techniques well before the day of the event in question. Banner printing, reserving radio airtime, and creating vibrant posters are some methods that will ensure maximum exposure.

The 2026 Riverside Lunar Festival is being held between Saturday, January 24th, and Sunday, January 25th. All festivities begin at 11 AM. Those who wish to attend should arrive at the Mission Inn Avenue located between Lime Street and Orange Street. Note that this event is free to attend, and no tickets are needed.
