Riverside is one of the many cities throughout California that boasts a proud Japanese community. An upcoming festival slated to be held in July is set to recognize this culture, and the contributions that it has made over the years.
The 2026 Spirit of Japan festival has essentially been created to provide Riverside residents a unique glimpse into Japanese traditions, and a host of on-site activities await. Some attractions include authentic Japanese food, sake tasting, traditional Apparel, a selection of Japanese beauty products, and a supervised child-friendly zone.
Some vendors that have already reserved spots include Hagihara Tatami, Ikoi Japanese Cafe, Soma Suisan, Kashiwa Raman OC, Tokyo Hungry Pizza, and Mochi Crepe. Additional opportunities remain open for businesses that wish to attend. Applications can be found online, and these are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Events associated with celebrating specific cultures will often utilize well-rounded marketing techniques to reach as large an audience as possible. Some methods may include brochure printing, affixing banner ads within public venues, and creating social media pages that can be updated when more information becomes available.
The 2026 Spirit of Japan Festival is taking place on Saturday, July 11th, and Sunday, July 12th. The itinerary for each day can be found by visiting the official website. All activities are being hosted within White Park located at 3936 Chestnut Street. Tickets are priced at $9.31 per entry, and these may be subject to change.
