Two powerhouse rock groups are coming to Hollywood to wind up their current tour.
Guns N’ Roses (GNR) is on tour and will make their last stop the Hollywood Bowl. This is the first appearance by the band in Los Angeles since 2021. The Black Keys will be GNR’s special guests.
Guns N’ Roses formed in Los Angeles in 1985 when two local bands, L.A. Guns and Hollywood Rose, merged. Geffen Records signed then in 1986, when the established lineup was vocalist Axl Rose, lead guitarist Slash, Duff McKagan on bass, Izzy Stradlin on Rhythm guitar, and Steven Adler handling the drums. One of the iconic rock groups of all time, GNR have sold over 100 million records, and given fans timeless hits like “Sweet Child o’ Mine,” and “Paradise City.”
Rose says they have been influenced by groups like Aerosmith, Queen, and the Rolling Stones, and in turn have influenced outfits like Fozzy and Nickelback.
The Black Keys are drummer Patrick Carney and vocalist/guitarist Dan Auerbach, who first got together in 2001 in Akron, Ohio. The duo has won five Grammys, and released eleven studio albums. Their sound has been called alternative rock, punk blues, and is often referred to as “good ol’ fashioned rock ‘n’ roll”.
Guns N’ Roses and The Black Keys will be at the Hollywood Bowl for two nights, November 1 and 2. This is the first time in their history GNR will appear at the Bowl. Promoters of events like this can publicize them using poster printing.
