The Poinsettia City Cat Club will be holding its annual show in Glendale this November, looking to showcase feline friends of all types.
The show will feature the theme of “Cats and Hats,” with cats entered into competitions based on grooming, training, and appearance. There will be awards categories for various breeds as well as all-around competition. The show will be governed by the rules of the Cat Fanciers’ Association, with trained judges making the final decisions.
The show will include both human and feline food available for purchase for refreshments. Newcomers are welcome to learn about different breeds and cat grooming. Cat and other pet shows like this one often feature events such as seminars and agility competitions, frequently using methods like flyer printing and social media to reach pet fanciers.
The Cat Fanciers’ Association Southwest Region hosts multiple shows in Glendale each year. Past shows have included over 200 cats and kittens on display, with breeds ranging from Ragdoll to Devon Rex. Visitors can also learn about adopting a cat from a local rescue shelter. Vendor booths provide cat toys, supplies, and related gift and Apparel items for cat-lovers ahead of the holidays.
The 2026 Poinsettia Cat Club Show will take place at the Glendale Civic Auditorium on Saturday, November 21. Discount tickets for children and seniors are available.
