Resume and Cover Letter Writing Workshop helps jobseekers
									On Tuesday, April 17th, 2012 the Alameda County Library located at 2450 Stevenson Blvd., in Fremont, California will be running a “Resume and Cover Letter Writing Workshop". This event begins at 1:00pm and runs until 2:30pm. This event will be held in the Dublin Library Program Room.
For those who are looking for a new job or their very first job, the Alameda County Library will be running a workshop designed to help you perfect your resume and cover letter writing skills. At this workshop, participants will receive advice from experts, listen to other stories about looking for work, prepare a resume and a cover letter and gain valuable insight into how to search for a job using the internet. Besides learning how to use the internet to search for work, participants will learn how to submit their resumes by email and how to respond to employers during the interview process. All participants will be provided with information on how to impress their future employers, as well as what to wear and how to present themselves when they show up for the interview process.
The Alameda County Library will also be offering additional courses to assist those who are looking for work. Please check the library’s coming events for more details.
