College admission advice issued to Fremont parents and students
A free informational seminar, The Art of College Admissions, is open to anyone with the plan of entering college in the next few years.
Professional admissions experts offer a variety of tips and advice about how to pass the admissions process. The seminar includes details on recent changes in admissions expectations, why high school and standardized testing matters, and what colleges want and need for information on the applications. The seminar will also include information about choosing a school, deciding between public or private universities, and much more.
Parents and students that want to have a head start on the process will appreciate the opportunity to view a college application and learn all the techniques they can use to improve their chances in this competitive environment. Only a limited amount of seating is available, so the organizers recommend registering early.
There is no parking or admission fee, but each party is limited to three members and each member must register with a separate ticket. The seminar will be at the Hyatt Place Fremont/Silicon Valley at 3101 West Warren Avenue in Fremont on July 21 and lasts from 9:40 am to 12:30 pm.
Video and photographs for social media use, and potentially brochure printing or other advertising, will take place at the seminar. By registering for the event, all participants are giving permission to Insight Education LLC to use footage or photographs that include their image.
