Animal Shelter seeking foster homes for kittens
For lovers of kittens and cats who cannot have one on a permanent basis, the Tri-City Animal Shelter in Fremont is seeking foster homes for kittens. The shelter believes that kittens who have socialization and positive attention are more adoptable.
Individuals and shelters often use poster printing services to relay information about upcoming events, lost pets, volunteer opportunities, and special programs. This form of communication can be supported by local businesses who can display the posters for customers or those walking by.
The shelter is looking for volunteers to foster the kittens as soon as possible. Depending on the age of the kittens, they will need to be under care for two to seven weeks. The shelter asks that kittens be kept in a separate area from any other pets in the home.
The shelter will continue to support the kittens for all their medical needs. When the kittens are picked up, the shelter will provide some food to get them started and cat litter. A loaner scale will also be provided so that the foster parents can weigh the kittens to ensure they are growing.
The shelter is located at 1950 Stevenson Boulevard and is open Tuesday through Friday from noon to 5:00 pm, and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The shelter is closed Sundays and holidays. Those wishing to obtain more information on fostering kittens can call or stop by for more information.
