Scary beer time headed to Costa Mesa

An event is coming up in Costa Mesa that promises to be delicious, fun, and slightly scary.

Boo Ha Ha is a “haunted Oktoberfest” presented jointly by The OC Fair and Brew Ha Ha Productions. The event will allow attendees to enjoy unlimited tastings of products from some of the best breweries in the country. Samples of kombucha, cider, seltzer, IPAs, German lagers and Oktoberfest brews will be available. Some of the participating brewers and other suppliers are Hangar 24 Craft Brewing, Ashland Hard Seltzer, Nectar Creek Meadery, and the All-American Brew Works.

Costumes are encouraged, but must follow some guidelines, including no nudity, no full-face coverings and no weapons of any kind, even replicas or toys.

Live entertainment will be provided by Berlin, with special guests The Mismiths. Berlin are an electro-pop band based in Los Angeles that are best known for the 1986 smash hit single “Take My Breath Away,” which was featured in the film “Top Gun.”

The Mismiths are a cover band who perform works by The Smiths and The Misfits and are beginning to make a name for themselves.

Boo Ha Ha is scheduled for October 29. The doors will open at 6.30 pm and the concert and beer fest/tastings will run from 7.00 pm until 10.00 pm. The afterparty will run until midnight, and concessions will be open during the entire event. Organizers of these types of events can use flyer printing to create a list of vendors.
