The wine festival celebrates the multitude of acclaimed wines from California, but it also reaches much further afield and assembles a diverse tasting of wines from around the world.
According to its website, the Orange County Wine Fest:
“…wants to make the experience of exploring wine effortless, fun, and non-intimidating.”
Tickets are $50. The general admission is for three hours of wine tasting. A $70 VIP ticket offers 45 extra minutes of wine tasting before the regular crowd is allowed to begin. Tickets are not available at the door and must be purchased online.
There will be plenty of food trucks on hand, selling a variety of dishes.
The Orange County Wine Fest is the reincarnation of the Santa Monica Wine Fest, which ran for two years in Santa Monica, California. Now, it seems, the festival is changing its geographic focus.

The Orange County Wine Fest takes place Saturday, June 13 from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Sunday, June 14, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm at The Hangar at the Orange County Fair and Event Center, 88 Fair Drive in Costa Mesa.
