Meal to show how good sustainability can taste

An evening of al fresco dining that features locally sourced ingredients, lovingly prepared by some of the area’s top chefs and served by high school volunteers, will soon be gracing the Barrera Parking Structure at Chapman University.

The menu for the function includes both appetizers and dinner, and guests are welcome to bring a bottle of their favorite wine to accompany their meal. The organizers explained that there will be a large number of dishes to sample, and they advised everyone to bring their appetites.

As the diners enjoy their food and meeting others who share their interest in making sustainable choices, they can relax to live music supplied by local performers. To encourage the guests to get to know one another, the food will be served family style, and the attendees will be treated to the scenic views the location affords.

Tickets for the evening are currently on offer for $175 each, and this includes two drink tickets they can redeem during the cocktail hour and also a parking pass. Suitable decor can help build an elegant atmosphere of this sort of event, and pop-up Banners and other reusable items from a printing services company can fit in well with the function’s overall theme of sustainability.

Tickets are now on sale for this Costa Mesa area occasion. The 4th annual Farmers’ Market to Table Dinner Fundraiser will be welcoming guests starting at 6:00 pm on August 24.
