The 2nd annual IBuyPower Gamefest is taking place in Costa Mesa next month for two days.
The festival is taking place at the same time as the Orange County Fair. Admission to the Fair is $14 for adults and $7 for seniors and youth; admission to Gamefest is free with admission. Those who attend Gamefest during the evening (after 7:00 PM) pay $17.50 for general admission or $25 for reserved seating; these tickets come with a t-shirt and giveaways. Parking costs $10
Visitors will enjoy exhibits and demonstrations of the latest in video gaming technology; they will also have the opportunity to talk to professional game players and game developers. There will be a virtual reality amusement park and a free open PC gaming area. Prizes are set to be awarded throughout the day.
There will be a Quest for the Ultimate Gamer contest in which participants compete in various challenges to win the grand prize of a room makeover.
It is likely that many of the giveaways will be Promotional Products provided by Costa Mesa Print shops. They may include items such as Pens and fridge magnets.
