Maria Bamford, a renowned comedian and voiceover artist, is scheduled to perform this month at Argyros Plaza in Costa Mesa.
Bamford established herself in the world of comedy by sharing her personal experiences with mental illness. She has appeared in late night television shows including Conan, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Tonight Show. She has performed on Comedy Central and popular TV shows including Arrested Development, as well as Fresh Off the Boat. She currently has a successful show streaming on Netflix entitled Lady Dynamite. She has been recognized for appearing in stand-up specials where each are approximately an hour long, including Old Baby, Maria Bamford ,and Weakness is the Brand. Her voiceover work can be heard on BoJack Horseman, Word Girl, Talking Tom and Friends, and Bob’s Burgers.
