Costa Mesa gets ready to dance

The Segerstrom Center, along with the American Dance Movement, is about to host the 4th Annual National Dance Day in Costa Mesa.

The Center is event’s the official host for the West Coast region, while Bank of America is the sponsor of the programming.

The American Dance Movement organization was established in 2010, with congresswoman Eleanor Holmes Norton and Nigel Lythgoe its founders. The mission of the Movement is to use dance to build interest and health within local communities. The organization works to provide education about the benefits of using dance as a fitness workout while grooving to the music.

Everyone is invited to attend the family-friendly event as no experience in dance is required for this activity. The day will be packed with fun, activities, dance, and entertainment. Special artists will perform a variety of styles in dance. Inclusive lessons will also be part of the experience as the audience is invited to participate in interactive segments.

Brochures are often created to use as promotional opportunities for events like this. Brochure printing typically highlights performers and venues by using images. Content may include upcoming dates of performances and contact information.

The 4th Annual National Dance Day will take place this Saturday, September 18, beginning at 4:00 pm at the Julianne and George Argyros Plaza. Ticket pricing starts at $10.00.
