Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra (FSO) has two noteworthy events coming in September.
The Orchestra will be presenting Sippin’ with the Symphony in mid- September. This event will be an evening of classical entertainment, hot and cold hors d’oeuvres, and quality beverages out on a grassy lawn. The event will also feature a raffle, silent auction and prizes.
Business-minded guests will want to remember to bring updated Business Cards so they will have information available if needed.
Sippin’ with the Symphony is scheduled for Saturday, September 12 at the Continental Country Club golf course’s Oakmont, 2380 North Oakmont Drive.
Toward the end of September, FSO will be celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday with four of his most famous movements, pianist Jeffrey Swann playing “Emperor’s Concerto” and “ASH,” a poetic homage to the iconic composer.
The movements will include Allegro con brio – Movement I of Symphony No. 5, Allegretto – Movement II of Symphony No. 7, Menuetto – Movement III from Symphony No. 4, and Finale, Allegro molto – Movement IV from Symphony No. 3.
Local businesses like to sponsor cultural events in the area as part of their community outreach programs. These sponsorships can be mentioned in any advertising that goes to local Print shops for promotional material.
Celebrating Beethoven is scheduled for September 25 at 7:30 pm at Northern Arizona University’s Ardrey Memorial Auditorium, 115 S. Knoles Drive.
