Many Flagstaff chocolate lovers will be strolling through Downtown Flagstaff enjoying chocolate sweet treats at the 10th Flagstaff Chocolate Week coming in early February.
Guests are advised to stop by the Flagstaff Visitor Center, 1 E. Route 66, first to pick up their "passports" and get maps of participating businesses.
Samples of chocolate and special discounts will await those who come, and Downtown Flagstaff is will be decked out for winter. While on the walk, attendees may visit local galleries, cafes, boutiques, and specialty stores including local artisan chocolatiers. Part of the winter fun will be getting out in the weather which is usually snowy.
The Stamps prove that the walker has visited that particular stop and it'll prevent people from re-entering to get more samples and souvenirs. They also give information to the organizers for next year's walk.
At each location participants need to get their passports stamped. When the passports get full, holders may turn them in at Visitor Center for reward and to have their names entered in a raffle for larger prizes.
Organizers of events like this often take their paper items such as passports and maps to local Print shops to have the event's logo or graphic design printed on them.
This event will begin in Historic Downtown Flagstaff 1, East US 66 and run from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on February 7th.
