The extravaganza will start with the free annual Sing-Along and Tree Lighting Ceremony beginning more than 40 festive activities. This opening ceremony will also feature live entertainment, holiday music and drinks at Scottsdale Waterfront, 7135 E. Camelback Road, November 25th, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
Children may start visiting Santa at the Old Town Scottsdale Farmers Market, on November 25th and again on the next three Saturdays, December 2nd, 9th, and 16th.
Small Business Saturday, November 25th from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm will be the chance for shoppers to start their Christmas shopping by supporting local businesses and retailers in Old Town.
The Annual Scottsdazzle Stroll will be laid back evenings of coffee, hot chocolate and leisurely walks along Scottsdale Waterfront banks looking at the seasonal light and décor. These walks will take place on the first three Saturday evenings in December.
The Old Town Arts District will hold its GoldPalette ArtWalk December 7th. This walk will take guests through the many galleries in Old Town while enjoying hot chocolate, strolling carolers and holiday decorations.
Cities that hold holiday events like Scottsdazzle often have pictures taken during the activities. These pictures then go to local Print shops to be added to visitor guides.
