What's Happening in Flagstaff, AZ…

This June, Flagstaff will enjoy annual bike rides and mountain bike races, known as Big Woody Rides, under the pines in Fort Tuthill County Park.

Four rides will be available in total. Registration for the six-hour solo run is $80 until June 4th, and $90 until and including race day. The six-hour duo will be $165 until June 4th, and $185 after that. The 27-mile solo will be $65 until June 4th and $75 after that, while the 13.5-mile solo will be $50, and $60 after the 4th. Cycling teams of varying sizes often get matching shirts sporting a custom graphic design.

Races will run on the Highland Trail, go onto the Forest Service roads that connect to Rogers Trail, and return to the park on Soldiers Trail. This course is considered an intermediate run with a couple technical spots.

All Flagstaff race participants will receive finisher medals, with custom podium awards going to the top female and male solo race finishers. The top team finishers in each race division will receive relay awards.

Race Village will be at the start/finish line, with a food tent easily accessible after each course lap. Here, racers may get water, electrolyte drinks, sodas, sweet and salty snacks, fruit, and hot food.

Big Woody Rides will take place at Fort Tuthill County Park, 2446 Fort Tuthill Loop on June 11th, with races beginning at 7:00am, 8:00am, and 8:30am.
