Local hotel offers Santa experience

Little America Hotel, of 2515 East Butler Avenue in Flagstaff, will begin its 2021 North Pole Experience in mid-November.

The Christmas journey will begin with a NPX Trolley ride through a “magic portal” taking everyone to the North Pole. At ride’s end will be Santa’s 400-year-old workshop. There, guests can build toys with the elves, visit the Toy Hall of Fame, take a peek at the toy factory, and get Yetti-O treats and cocoa at Mrs. Claus’s Bakery. Santa will see each family and pose for free keepsake digital photos taken. He will also give a Collectable 2021 Teddy Bear to each child.

Little students can earn their Honorary Elf diplomas from Elf University, send their letters to Santa in the mailroom, and visit Rudolf in Santa’s sleigh hangar.

Businesses that create experiences like this often have photographers take pictures of the activities. The pictures are sometimes sent to local Print shops to become part of their advertising campaign.

November tickets for the Day Experience (8:00 am to 3:40 pm) will be $43 per adult and $36 for children 18 months to 17 years old, and Night Experience (3:50 pm to 9:00 pm) adult tickets are $49 for adults and $42 for children. Rates go up by $10 for December tickets.

The 2021 North Pole Experience will begin November 13 and go through November 28. It also runs from December 3 through 5, and then December 9 through 26 except for Christmas Day.
