Valentine’s Day is coming soon, and that is when our minds often turn to chocolate. Locals can get their fix this year at the fifth annual Flagstaff Chocolate Walk.
The one-day event will invite local chocolate lovers to visit downtown Flagstaff businesses while collecting chocolate-based goodies.
Passports will be issued when tickets are purchased. At each participating stop, a stamp will be put on the passports. After the minimum of five Stamps have been collected, the passport can be turned in at the Flagstaff Visitor Center between 2:00 and 4:00 pm and entered into a contest for a grand prize. The event will only accommodate the first 500 registrants.
Each participating business will offer one treat per passport. Visitors can vote for their favorite business, and the winner will receive a prize.
Even if the Chocolate Walk guests do not buy anything at the participating establishments at this time, they may want to gather Business Cards with information that will be useful at a later date.
Guests 13 years and older will pay $8 for early-bird and $9 per ticket on event day, and kids 6 to 12 can get $5 early-bird and $6 event day tickets.
The Flagstaff Chocolate Walk will take place next Saturday, February 9 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm starting at the Flagstaff Visitor Center, 1 E. Route 66.
