Flagstaff invited to return of book festival

Northern Arizona Book Festival will be returning to Downtown Flagstaff in mid-April.

Northern Arizona Book Festival, created to foster the local Literary community, will be four days of showcases, publications, and a look at contemporary literary arts from around the Flagstaff area.

Various places around Downtown Flagstaff such as the public library, local coffee shops, bars, and Heritage Square will be holding events, and virtual events have been added to broaden the festival's accessibility.

On April 10th, A High Desert Reading Series: Cinder Skies will present Jenny Irish and Jack Galatifor readings and Questions and Answer sessions.

Cinder Skies with Jenny Irish and Jack Galati will take place Thursday, April 10th beginning at 7:00 pm at The Annex Cocktail Lounge, 50 S San Francisco Street.

Amber McCrary, Kinsale Drake and m.s. redcherries will be giving readings at the Museum of Northern Arizona, 3101 N. Fort Valley Road beginning at 6:30 pm.

Returning this year, Throwing Tomatoes, a humor writing event, will have serious writers trying their hand at writing humor. Last year the event had a great turnout, and organizers are looking forward to providing an evening of chuckles and laughs.

Throwing Tomatoes will begin at 8:00 pm, Saturday, April 12th at the Firecreek Coffee Company, 22 Historic E Route 66.
