Wheeler Park will be humming with polka music, lederhosen-clad Herren and dirndl-dressed Frauen for Flagstaff’s 13th annual Oktoberfest coming early in October.
The venue will offer a wide range of wine and beer available for purchase.
Food vendors will include Merkin Vineyards Kebab Truck, Bubble Palace, Square Root Burger, Cody Coyote Kettle Corn, Satchmo’s BBQ, and 3 in the Trees. Other treats will be available in the craft area and will include snacks at Fat Man and the Redhead LLC; candied nuts and freeze-dried candy at DnR Freeze Dry; and white, milk, and dark chocolates at Spero Chocolate.
Crafts will include seasonings, face painting and body art, crystal jewelry, recycled class wind chimes, cutting boards and spoon rests, beard care products, soaps, candles, desert botanicals, and handmade knit and crochet items.
Sponsors like the Arizona Lottery, Noble Herb, Arizona Snowbowl, and TOAZ Motorcycles Flagstaff will have booths with information about their goods and services. Businesses that sponsor events like this often bring Promotional Products such as promotional Pens to hand out to passers-by.
Entertainment will be The Flag 5 (Northern Arizona rock band), Thirsty Five, a Chicken Dance contest, and Mike Reeves Band on the Main stage. Meanwhile, the Wiener Man Race, along with men’s and women’s beer stein, brat eating, and frozen T-shirt contests await on the Oktoberfest Contest stage.
Flagstaff Oktoberfest will be from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday, October 1 in Downtown Flagstaff’s Wheeler Park, 211 W. Aspen.
