Community enjoys Hullabaloo

Flagstaff Hullabaloo, a two-day celebration of our city’s diverse culture, will take place in mid-August. Proceeds will go to local non-profits.

On the Saturday, the annual Flagstaff Athletic ClubBike Parade will start staging at 9:00 am in the Solar Lot at City Hall. Everyone is invited to dress in unique attire and join the fun. The parade will depart at 9:30 am. A Mini Kids Parade will start at 2:00 pm, and the Kids Parade is at 4:00 pm in the Puppet Tent.

The Main Stage will start performances at 10:30 am with Viola & the Brakemen. F-Town follows at noon and Summit Dub Squad at 1:45 pm. Other performers will be The Naughty Bits, Erica Falls, and B-Side Players.

Mini Kids Parades, Kids Parades, Kids Costume Contests and Adult Costume Contests will be on the Main Stage both days. Parade participants and winners of contests such as these often have duplicates of pictures taken of them made at local Print shops to give to relatives and friends.

A Kids Zone will feature two bounce houses, an obstacle course and giant inflatable slide. Living Folklore will provide Giant Puppets. Both food and merchandise vendors will be on site.

Flagstaff Family Food Center will benefit from the first 250 guests donating two cans of food for free general admission tickets.

Flagstaff Hullabaloo will be Saturday, August 14 from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm and Sunday, August 15 from 11:00 am until 6:00 pm at Wheeler Park.
