Candy Cane Lane open for one night

Shadows Foundation Holiday Candy Cane Lane – 2022 will usher in the season early in December.

This will be a one-evening drive-thru car ride through more than 49 holiday exhibits including brightly lit colorful decorated trees, large candy cane poles and the tunnel of lights that will be synchronized to holiday music.

These exhibits have been erected by local businesses, organizations, and Flagstaff residents. Anyone who wants to support it will need to get their participation applications in before next Thursday, November 24.

Law enforcement agencies will be at the entrance to pass out voting Forms for guests to choose their favorite display. Santa, his elves, and Mrs. Claus will be handing out treats to children as the cars leave the venue, and Santa’s elves will be collecting children’s Christmas lists.

Guests are asked to bring new toys to donate to the “Northern Arizona Law Enforcement Toy Drive.” Donations may also be given to Shadow 2 Foundation, providing financial assistance and other services for those affected with life threatening illnesses. Attendees may also drop-off Holiday Cards, notes of gratitude, and letters for the troops, perhaps featuring stylish Letterheads. They can donate their loose change to Hold Strong, aiding officers facing PTSD.

Reservations are $15 per carload for half-hour timeslots. They can be obtained online at the event's website.

Holiday Candy Cane will take place Saturday, December 3 from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at Flagstaff Subaru, 4910 E Marketplace Drive.
