Arboretum presents two pumpkin events

The Arboretum at Flagstaff will be presenting its 2022 Pumpkin Walk and Pumpkins by the Peaks at the end of October.

Over 100 glowing jack-o-lanterns will be lining the path and there will be old-fashioned carnival games, face painting, spooky stories while Tynkertopia will be bringing Halloween fun. Lady Beard will provide the music. Beer will be available from Historic and Dark Sky and dinner will be provided by Hatcher Shack Bar-B-Q. All adult attendees, kids, dogs, and friends are encouraged to turn up dressed in their Halloween attire.

Tickets for adult non-members will be available for $17, adult members will cost $13 and kid tickets will be $7. The Pumpkin Walk will be from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm on Friday, October 28.

Pumpkins by the Peaks will be an earlier walk through the Arboretum’s fall gardens aglow with jack-o-lanterns. Again, guests are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes and enjoy hayrides, cocoa and cider, food from Good Time Rolling Kitchen, and performances and spooky stories around a campfire.

Pumpkins by the Peaks will take place Friday, October 28 through Sunday, October 30 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

The Arboretum has a special fall picture-taking opportunity where guests can get photos of their families and friends among pumpkins and gourds. Pictures like these are often used by Stationery printers as part of their holiday card collections.

The Arboretum at Flagstaff is located at 4001 South Woody Mountain Road.
