The Jones Center in Springdale will be hosting an event in May that helps women improve their self-confidence.
The Women's Empowerment Workshop is a program where women can feel heard and validated while connecting with others in their community. The experience will include several activities, breakout group sessions, and a keynote talk by a special guest. Attendees can also participate in a photo shoot with a photographer from Monica Ray Photography, LLC. Guests may win door prizes at the workshop, and there will also be surprises during the event.
The keynote speaker and organizer of the program is Becca Ferguson, a licensed counselor with a degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is the owner of The Therapy Office, which is an organization that offers unique and calming counseling experiences. Ferguson has worked at companies such as Brookway Counseling, Cerebral, and Vantage Point NWA. She has also volunteered with organizations like the Crisis Text Line and Arkansas Crisis Center.
The workshop for women will be on Saturday, May 13 from 9:00 am to noon. Tickets to the meeting will cost guests $50 each. Only the first 20 people to arrive at The Jones Center will receive a door prize. Organizations that hold workshops similar to this may use brochure printing services to make resources that their guests can bring home.
