This July 4th, Springdale will hold the Eagle 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon at a local park in honor of the anniversary of the American Revolution.
The race will be held at Shaw Family Park, a 120-acre open space park that opened in 2021. The park features three playgrounds, four tennis courts, two pavilions, a dog park, five ponds, a splashpad, and three miles of paved trails. The 5K and 10K will feature a scenic out-and-back route that repeats the course twice for the 5K and four times for the 10K. For those hardy individuals looking for something more challenging, the half marathon will repeat the course six times.
The starting line will be situated next to the splashpad. Packet pickup will be held 30 minutes prior to start time to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for runners and volunteers. Water will be provided at the start and finish line, with multiple water stops for those running longer than a 5K.
Organizers of race events will often consider erecting Banners at the start and finish lines of the event. As such, they may require professional banner printing services, such as those found at many local Print shops.
