This May, the 2026 Call of the Wild will be held in Springdale as the annual fundraiser for the Ozark Nature Science Center.
The Ozark Nature Science Center is a nonprofit organization and natural science-based facility that provides immersive school programs and camps for school-aged children, as well as education opportunities and natural science activities for people of all ages. The mission of the center is to promote an appreciation and sense of stewardship for the Ozarks. The Call of the Wild fundraiser is held to raise money to help these programs continue and grow.
The event will feature live music from The Backyard Bugs, Carolina Mendoza, and Still on the Hill. Food will include bratwursts, burgers, and a variety of sides, plus gluten-free and vegan options. Ticket purchase also includes complimentary drinks. There will be nature and science games, guided hikes and even a visit from ONSC's ambassador snake, Cornelia. Raffles will be held, and plenty of ONSC Merch will be given out.
Fundraising events like this that feature raffles and giveaway as part of its activities will often reach out to local businesses interested in becoming sponsors for the event by donating Promotional Products in exchange for community advertising.
The Call of the Wild event is slated for May 16 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. It will be held at Lake Fayetteville, located at 599 E Lakeview Drive, Springdale.
