Arts organization to give performance at Springdale library
Arts Live Theatre will visit the Springdale Public Library in December to tell the story of The Velveteen Rabbit.
The Children’s Department at the Springdale Public Library will hold a program where guests can enjoy a live retelling of The Velveteen Rabbit and participate in a themed crafting activity. The Velveteen Rabbit is a story that was created by Margery Williams Bianco about a toy rabbit and its journey of becoming real. The tale emphasizes the importance of love and forming connections with others. After the show, guests will get to make their own bunnies out of paper bags.
Arts Live Theatre is an organization based in Fayetteville, Arkansas that gives children an opportunity to take part in acting productions and develop theatre-related skills. Christin Hurst is the president of the group, and Mark Landon Smith is the executive director of the artistic staff. There are many themed camps held by the organization, like the Hogwarts Wizard Training Camp, the Growing Up Greek Camp, and the Magic Treehouse Camp.
The performance of The Velveteen Rabbit will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. No registration is required for families to enjoy the show by Arts Live Theatre, and there is no ticket cost for the event. Libraries that host child-friendly programming like this may advertise these shows to patrons with the help of poster printing services.
