Springdale to set up muddy obstacle course

The Springdale Rotary Club will be organizing a mud run in June at Ecclesia College to raise money for its many projects.

The Pig Trail Mud Run is an annual fundraiser where people can maneuver through a muddy course to help the Springdale Rotary Club. The event will feature over 20 obstacles, including a rope swing, water slide, and zip line. A recovery party with cold drinks and food will be held after the run. The course has extreme hills, ponds, and underbrush. Participants are asked to wear comfy running shoes.

Those who enter the mud run will be given a medal for attending, a commemorative T-shirt, and runner Bags. There is also a costume contest held during the run that encourages teams to wear pig-related costumes or crazy outfits. A bag check area will be available for runners who wish to leave their phones and a clean change of clothes somewhere where they will not get dirtied. People who organize themed races like this can use banner printing to provide guests with directions to event amenities.

The Pig Trail Mud Run will occur on Saturday, June 4 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. The cost to enter the race will be $110 per person, though discounts are available to those who register before the week of the event. Discounts will also be given to teachers, medical workers, and police officers.
