Springdale to hold conference for educators
The Young Entrepreneur Institute will hold an entrepreneurship conference in Springdale for those involved in K-12 education.
The Enspire Conference is an event for educators throughout Northwest Arkansas that teaches attendees how to build entrepreneurial mindsets in their students. The conference includes a keynote presentation by author Brian Weisfeld and a presentation from Noah Washington, the host of The Ridin' Around Show. There will even be breakout sessions led by organizations such as the Ozark Entrepreneur Curriculum Project and Expert Educators.
The Young Entrepreneur Institute is an organization that was founded in 2005 by Greg Malkin, an entrepreneur who started his first business in 1983. He also earned awards from the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship and the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education. Ilene Frankel is the current executive director of the organization. The institute has several programs, including the Young Entrepreneur Pitch Challenge, Young Entrepreneur Market, and Lemonade Day.
The Enspire Conference will be held on Friday, November 8th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. There is no cost for educators to sign up for the event.
