Springdale to hold carnival fundraiser

The Barn at the Springs in Springdale will be organizing a fundraising activity in September to support a local adoption agency.

Arkansas Local 2022 is an event where people can partake in carnival-themed activities while raising money for the Shared Beginnings adoption group. Participants will enjoy carnival games, inflatable rides, and refreshments from local vendors. There will also be a themed cocktail served to each attendee. Guests can compete in the venue’s cornhole tournament while also listening to music.

The Shared Beginnings adoption agency is an organization that wants to give a voice to women who are considering adoption by connecting them to helpful resources and educating them on their options. The team at the center also offers counseling and victim protection to expecting mothers. Michaela Montie is the executive director of the organization, and Julia Hudson is the program director. The group also runs a blog featuring stories of real people who have been placed into foster care.

The community fundraiser will be held on Friday, September 16 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Tickets for the program will cost $75 per participant. The funds from the evening will be used to help Shared Beginnings provide individual therapy sessions and life skills workshops to families. Organizers for fundraisers like these can gift Promotional Products to attendees to raise their familiarity with the benefiting organization.
