Springdale to give bike lesson for children

The Jones Center in Springdale will be holding a fun and educational biking camp for kids in July.

Children interested in developing stronger biking skills can attend a camp offered by Buddy Pegs. The organization helps kids become better bikers by incorporating its Learn to Pedal curriculum into fun activities led by experienced coaches. The camp will also use the no-pedal glide method of teaching to instruct participants on how to ride a bike without training wheels. A destination ride will be held at the end of the program where parents can ride with their kids.

Buddy Pegs is an organization interested in helping children with their biking skills by providing effective year-round programming that encourages kids to go outside and stay active. Several types of programs are offered by the group, including afterschool sessions, private lessons, races, and birthday parties. The organization also runs a bike shop where people can purchase bikes, protective gear, and accessories from brands such as Norco, Urban Arrow, and Bell.

The biking camp will take place from Monday, July 18 to Friday, July 22, and each session will last from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The program will cost $50 per child, and the intended age range is for kids 5-10. Athletic organizations that hold educational camps like this may use poster printing to promote their programs at schools.
