Train lovers can enjoy the holidays on the special trains running through the month of December. All rides will leave the Springdale Depot, 306 E. Emma.
On December 6, guests may ride the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad train to Rogers to view the Rogers Christmas Parade. The train will leave at 6:00 pm, take guests to Rogers and have a two-hour layover, plenty of time to watch the parade. Then it will depart Rogers at 9:00 pm.
Families and friends will be taking the first one hour “Holiday Express” to Johnson and back on Monday, December 2. The ride will begin at 4:00 pm at the Springdale Depot. Six other trips will be on various days and times until December 23.
Santa and his elves will be meeting and greeting guests on the “Pajama Train” from Springdale to Fayetteville. The ride will take an hour and a half and leaves at 6:30 pm on December 5, 6, 7, and 12.
To welcome the New Year, revelers can take the special “New Year’s Eve Celebration” train ride from Springdale to Rogers. Two trains will depart the station – one at 7:00 pm and the other at 8:00 pm on December 31. The four-hour layover will give ample time to party.
