Springdale couples looking for an evening out for a good cause can check out two events coming in February.
On Friday, February 7, from 6:30 pm until 10:30 pm, City of Stars Valentine’s Charity Gala at the Walton Arts Center 495 West Dickson Street in Fayetteville will offer dancing, heavy hors d’oeuvres, and an open bar. The $50 individual and $90 couple tickets will also include transportation for one month for someone with disabilities participating in Open Avenues.
The Katalyst Foundation in partnership with the Fayetteville AR Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi will be presenting its Kappa Masquerade Ball 2020 here in Springdale early in February. This will be a scholarship fundraiser for Northwest Arkansas High School seniors.
Attire will be formal and masks are encouraged. The evening will begin with a VIP Sponsor Reception at 6:00 pm. A cocktail hour will follow at 7:11 pm. Dinner, followed by dancing, will be from 8:00 pm to midnight.
Music will be provided by DJ Derrick. DJs often bring Business Cards to events such as this in case anyone wants to get in touch with them at a later date for future gigs.
Tickets will be $75 each, and a sponsorship table including VIP access will be $750.
Kappa Masquerade Ball will take place at the Apollo on Emma, 308 W. Emma Avenue from Saturday, February 8 starting at 7:11 pm. The event should wind down around midnight.
