Springdale music fest to raise money for OneCommunity
OneCommunity will organize a cultural event and fundraiser in September at The Shiloh Square in Springdale.
The ArkanSalsa Fest is a cultural experience where people can participate in themed activities while supporting the programs offered by OneCommunity. Attendees can try free chips and salsa at the event and vote on the best-tasting salsa. Other activities at the festival include a car showcase, parade, and live performances from bands and dancers. There will also be art vendors and free resource booths for event-goers to browse.
People who want to support the fest can become volunteers. Those who volunteer at the ArkanSalsa Fest may help with parade coordination, festival booth coordination, and salsa preparation. Companies interested in sponsoring OneCommunity’s festival can pay between $500 and $5,000. The incentives for becoming a sponsor include having business names featured on festival signs, recognition in all media releases, and free exhibitor booths. Those who pay $5,000 will have a presentation opportunity during the opening ceremony of the fest.
