The Springdale Public Library will be working with the College Access Initiative to hold three courses in March that educate young adults.
High schoolers looking for advice on developing good habits can attend three virtual programs offered at the Springdale Public Library. The first activity is Begin with End in Mind, a lesson on how students can prepare for the future. The second webinar is focused on developing time management skills, and the third will teach attendees how to create a positive first impression on other people. Each program will take place on a Zoom call.
The College Access Initiative is a beneficial program that aims to help underserved students in Arkansas prepare for college. The initiative is a part of the Center for Multicultural & Diversity Education at the U of A. Several topics are covered by the program’s workshops, including how to study for the ACT and tips on applying for financial aid. There are no fees to attend the webinars held by the College Access Initiative. Organizations that make educational activities like this can promote their seminars with printing services.
Begin with End in Mind will be held on Thursday, March 3, and the time management program will take place on Tuesday, March 15. The Making a Good Impression workshop will be on Thursday, March 17. All programs will last from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
