Springdale library to hold child-friendly musical performance

The Springdale Public Library will invite a kid-friendly group to perform for families this June.

Candy Songs and the Backyard Bugs is an in-person experience where kids can enjoy catchy, educational songs performed by local singers, songwriters, and musicians. The program is a project led by Candy Lee. The show is intended to help children develop their social skills and emotional intelligence through kid-friendly performances. The hour-long live concert will be held at the Springdale Public Library's Children's Department.

Candy Lee is a singer-songwriter who went to college for environmental education, elementary education, and child development. She works as a pediatric nurse and has experience teaching songwriting skills to elementary school students. Lee has created several music videos for her YouTube Channel, including Busy Buzzy Bees, Sharing is Caring, It's Okay to Feel, and It's a Pattern. She performs live shows in the Northwest Arkansas area and participates in events like the Candy Songs Kids' Music Fest.

The live show will be held on Saturday, June 15th from 10:30 am to 11:30 am. Library visitors will not need to register in advance to see Lee's performance. Families will also not need to purchase tickets for the concert. Singers who hold similar shows at community venues like this may use printing services to make Flyers that promote their concerts to families.
