The Northwest Arkansas Human Resources Association (NOARK) will meet in Springdale to review recent conferences and discuss an upcoming assembly.
Members of NOARK are invited to participate in a meeting that will discuss current major events involving the association. An overview of the Arkansas Society for Human Resource Management’s state conference will be held during the program to inform attendees about the event’s legal highlights. The gathering will also educate guests on what items will be covered during the upcoming Arkansas General Assembly. One objective of the meeting is to help NOARK members better understand HR-related legal compliance issues.
The speaker for the association’s program will be H. Wayne Young, a current member of the Labor and Employment Law Practice Group. He has attended educational institutions such as Arkansas Tech University and the William H. Bowen School of Law. Young also received the Russell Gunter Legislative Advocacy Award in 2017. His other notable accomplishments include being a former president of the Little Rock Downtown Kiwanis Club and being recognized by The Best Lawyers in America.
The meeting will take place on January 12 from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm and will be held at the Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield in Springdale. Those interested in joining NOARK can become an SHRM member for $65, or pay $75 as a non-member.
