Springdale fuses with Ozarks for festival

The Second Ozarktober Fest will be coming toward the end of October. The four-day event is a fall celebration blending the best of Springdale with the history and traditions of the Ozarks.

The event will kick off with the Farm to Train dinner. The train will leave Downtown Springdale depot Thursday evening, taking riders through the autumn-hued Ozark hills. During the ride, guests will be served a multicourse meal consisting of seasonal food and beverages.

The next day will be the Ozarktober Fest Fall Fling Bonfire. The bonfire party will include hayrides taking guests to downtown Springdale and back. There will be food, live music, and many free activities like pumpkin decorating.

Treats at the Train Family Carnival will be on the same day. Here, kids can trick-or-treat on the train, enjoy live music, and play carnival games.

Halloween Fest will be free and will have games, host a costume parade, and give out lots of candy.

Pictures taken at events such as this often find their way to Print shops for poster printing, and to Stationery printers for fall Holiday Cards.

The Fall Fling Hayrides and Bonfire will be Friday, October 26 at Rodeo of the Ozarks, 1423 E. Emma Avenue from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.

Treat at the Train Family Carnival will be from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm in downtown Springdale on October 26.

Halloween Fest will be Saturday, October 27th from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in Downtown Springdale.
