The Apollo on Emma will hold a comedy show in September to help benefit the ART WALK in Downtown Springdale.
The Downtown Springdale ART WALK Comedy Show is an event where people can support the arts in their community while enjoying sets from multiple talented comedians. The ART WALK Comedy Troupe will feature performers such as Kenneth Crabgrass, Shaan Choppala, and The Frisco Kid. The show's host is Liz Velasco, the current program director of the Hot Latin 99.9 FM radio station. People can meet and greet the comedians in front of the venue.
The ART WALK is a multi-day event in Downtown Springdale where attendees can explore free exhibitions at their own pace. Several activities are held during the program, like the Monarch Flight Festival and the Art Crawl. The event is co-organized by the Downtown Springdale Alliance and Baldwin & Shell. Communities that put together artistic events like this may use Print shops to make custom advertisements for their festivals.
The comedy show will take place on Thursday, September 14th. There will be a matinee from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm that costs $15 per person. Reserved seating for the matinee is $50 per couple. People can also go to the late-night show from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. General admission costs $20 per person, and reserved seats are $75 per couple.
