The organization Arkansas Latinas Bike will be premiering a new activity in Springdale this November that celebrates the Day of the Dead.
The Dia de Los Muertos Bici Ride is a new event where participants can decorate their bikes with colorful skulls and skeletons and ride throughout the community. The activity is a family-friendly, non-competitive outing that will take riders on a trip around Lake Fayetteville. The loop will be 11 miles long, and there will be two departure times to help practice social distancing. After the trip is completed, guests can stick around for tamales and pozole.
Arkansas Latinas Bike was formed last year to promote biking and exercise to the community in a fun way. The organization hosts many public activities related to cycling, such as instructing people how to fix flat tires or perform maintenance on their bikes. The group hosts biking sessions at venues like Rogers High School and Bentonville Square. Athletic organizations like this may use Logo Design to make branded team Apparel for better recognition in public.
The group bike ride will be held on Saturday, November 7 from 9:30 am to noon, and tickets will cost $25 per rider. Each participant in the event is required to wear a helmet during the trip. Cyclists will start the journey at Shiloh Square.
