The Compassion House organization in Springdale will be organizing a fundraising gala at The Barn at the Springs in April.
The Blue Jean Baby Ball is a gala where people can contribute towards bettering the lives of pregnant teen moms and their babies. The program is a country chic style event and will include dinner for all attendees. Participants will also be treated to live music entertainment at the gala and may participate in a live and silent auction. Multiple special guests will be giving speeches during the ball. Galas similar to this may advertise their future fundraisers with flyer printing.
The Compassion House is an organization that has served pregnant teens and their children for 30 years. The group provides mothers with housing and education to ensure they succeed in life. A few lessons taught by the Compassion House include time management skills, improving emotional health, and managing money. All teens in the organization’s program are matched with a labor coach. The programs offered by the group are funded by businesses, grants, and individuals.
The Blue Jean Baby Ball will take place on Friday, April 29. The gala will last from 6:00 pm to 10:30 pm and costs $75 per person to attend. People who wish to get involved with the Compassion House can donate to the organization or volunteer to help the teen moms.
