A local artist and instructor in Springdale will hold an art class on floral arrangements in April at Studio 22.
The In-Person Spontaneous Flower Arrangements workshop is a course for those interested in improving their art skills and creating pictures in a welcoming environment. Many topics will be covered, including composition, how to mix textures in a piece, and how artists can combine different media in the same picture. There will be time during the workshop for guests to ask the instructor questions. Participants will leave the class with two completed paintings.
The instructor for the lesson is Beth Woessner, an experienced self-taught artist who is inspired by watercolor painting and flowers. She teaches many in-person and online art classes and can also be commissioned to work on paintings for clients. People can purchase Woessner’s work from her website. Artists who offer online or in-person community lessons may use printing services to make original Flyers to help promote their classes to potential students.
The flower arrangements art workshop will be held on Wednesday, April 24 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The cost to attend Woessner’s lesson is $50 per person. The price of the class will include watercolor paper and the synthetic Japanese Yupo paper. No refunds will be given to customers. All of the necessary art supplies for Woessner’s project will be provided to workshop participants.
