The Northwest Arkansas Jazz Society (NAJS) will be organizing a performance in May at the Sassafras Springs Winery in Springdale.
Those who enjoy jazz can attend a concert performed by Elizabeth Bainbridge at the Sassafras Springs Winery. Bainbridge started her experience as a jazz duo performer in Memphis during the 1990s and later moved to Fayetteville to continue her passion. She has played at many venues in Arkansas, including The Piano Bar and MOJO’s Pints and Pies. Performers like this can advertise upcoming shows to people by using poster printing services.
The NAJS is a non-profit corporation created in 1992 that wishes to preserve and celebrate the art of jazz through promoting artists and presenting concerts. Several jazz performers have worked with the NAJS, including Ray Anderson, Bobby Watson, Greg Osby, and Sheila Jordan. The group is affiliated with many notable venues, such as the Walton Arts Center and the University of Arkansas Ballroom and Theater. The organization also offers student scholarships for musicians.
The duo concert will be held on May 7 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Those who want to see other performances from Bainbridge can visit her Facebook page for updates on her future shows. People interested in supporting the NAJS may donate online or become a member of the organization for $10 a year.
