Trade show scheduled for Anchorage

Small businesses, gift shop owners, and others who handle and sell handmade gifts and accessories have a show coming up just for them.

The Wholesale Alaska Gift Show, titled the ‘International Exhibition of Handicrafts, Handmades, Gifts & Decoratives’, will give attendees a chance to meet buyers, owners, and managers, consider incentive programs for buyers, have access to a buyers' list that is updated continuously, and see displays of gift items of all kinds.

The theme of the show is “Aspire.Create.Seek.Connect.” Organizers say this is precisely the mission of the event—to give attendees a chance to see the new products that are available, and to expand their businesses and the number of buyers they attract. Promotional Pens are often distributed at events like this.

The event is designed for those in the trade, and is not open to the public. The Alaska Gift Show is scheduled for three days early in the new year. Exhibitors will be able to set up from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm on January 9, 2020, with the show opening at 2:00 pm that day and continuing until 7:00 pm. The hours are from 9:00 am until 7:00 pm on January 10, and from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm on January 11. Exhibitors will have from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on January 11 to move out.
