Anchorage community center to hold seasonal dance

The Workshop Community Center in Anchorage will organize a dance in March for kids and teens.

The Annual Spring Break Dance is a family-friendly experience where guests can enjoy a high-energy atmosphere with special visual effects. The venue will use black lights to create a glowing dance floor for attendees. The event will have live DJs leading the party. Parents may drop off their kids if they are 12 or older. Parental supervisors can also attend the seasonal dance with their children.

The Workshop is an organization that aims to create a healthy social environment for Anchorage’s youth by providing them with experiences that promote positive development. The events organized at The Workshop help reduce isolation and give children an artistic outlet. There are many amenities at the venue, including a learning-based play corner, classroom, and lounge seating. People can assist the organization by volunteering for reading stories to kids, greeting visitors at the front desk, and cleaning the facility.

The spring dance will take place on Saturday, March 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Tickets will cost $10 per student in advance, and adult supervisors will be allowed to attend the dance for free. Door prices for tickets will be $15 per child. Community organizations that organize similar dances to this can use flyer printing to get more families interested in attending their events.
