The Williwaw development is situated next to Town Square Park. It has occupied a gap left behind where Covenant House once stood.
Downtown Anchorage is a major center of employment, but it also contains several cultural amenities. If the new development is to obtain critical mass, then those using it could employ flyer printing in Anchorage for promotional reasons. The Humpy enterprise will be responsible for the operation of the restaurant.
Susynn Snyder, a marketing director for Humpy, has told the Alaska Dispatch News:
"We are finally getting to the point where the agents are contacting us, instead of us having to contact them."
She has confirmed that the new venue will give acts more space than was possible in the neighborhood spots that her firm used to run. She has stated that this may mean big names from the radio or on the social media will come to the location.
Jessica Maillous, a manager for Humpy, has suggested that the new restaurant will stock a range of healthy food. She has explicitly mentioned that local produce will be made available to consumers, and has indicated that the coffee shop will be open early in the day.
