Business training events on Anchorage schedule

A business training course in Anchorage will help attendees pass the certification examination for Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.

Six Sigma and its derivatives, Green Belt and Black Belt, are management techniques designed to help improve manufacturing methods. One of the classic Six Sigma teachings is the “just in time” process, which has been adapted from Japanese industry. Using this model, raw materials are delivered “just in time” to be used. As people become more experienced with Six Sigma, they can advance to Green or Black Belt status.

Educera is offering the training to help attendees receive their certification the first time they take the examination. The program's instructors give students the methodologies and techniques, as well as the tools to take over as leaders of Lean Six Sigma projects. Part of the Six Sigma program suggests that as people become more skilled they take over more projects.

The upcoming session includes 32 hours of training, real world examples, simulations of the Black Belt exam, case studies based in real industries, and a number of Six Sigma tools students can use to gain hands-on practice.

There are two Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) training programs coming up, one beginning on December 22, 2020, and the second on January 26, 2021, both at the Business Centre in Anchorage. Both programs begin on a Tuesday at 9:00 am and end on Friday at 5:00 pm. Print shops can create materials for courses like this.
