Beer and wine fest to return to Anchorage

The Dena'ina Convention Center in Anchorage will host a festival where guests 21 and up can try different craft beers and barley wines.

The Alaska Craft Brew and Barley Wine Festival is an event that lets consumers engage with local breweries and try samples of alcoholic beverages. The fest was created from a collaboration between Peak 2 Peak Events and the Brewers Guild of Alaska. Many breweries will take part in the festival, such as the Double Shovel Cider Company, Grace Ridge Brewing, and the Kenai River Brewing Company. The fest will also feature live performances from bands like Nothin' But Trouble and The Stack.

Breweries interested in the beer and wine fest can join the event by applying online. Companies that participate in the convention will receive one counter-height table, beer tubs, ice, and access to electricity. Those who need electricity must request access in advance. Brewers are responsible for bringing their own signage and dispensing equipment to the festival.

The festival will be held on Friday, February 2nd and Saturday, February 3rd. General admission to the beer fest is $75 per person, which includes 15 sample tickets. Those who want VIP admission can pay $125. Attendees with VIP tickets will get a swag bag and one food voucher. Organizers for similar conventions can place Promotional Products like drink koozies and magnets in their VIP swag Bags.
