Anchorage travel association to organize trade show

The Alaska Travel Industry Association (ATIA) will be holding a trade show in January at the Dena’ina Center and Egan Center in Anchorage.

The ATIA Annual Industry Event & Trade Show gives businesses a chance to network with other professionals in the travel industry while learning about the latest best practices. The convention will cover important subjects like land management access, native tourism opportunities, and how companies can prepare for welcoming visitors in 2022. Coffee service and continental breakfasts will be provided to guests.

The ATIA is a non-profit trade organization that wishes to maintain the success, quality, and integrity of Alaska’s travel industry. The group emphasizes people and is passionate about growing the state’s tourism. ATIA consists of nearly 600 members. Those who are part of the organization receive free virtual newsletters, unlimited job postings, and discounts to other businesses. Non-profit associations like this may increase their visibility by using poster printing.

The trade show will be held from January 18 to January 20. People who attend the full event in person can pay $425 to register. New members of the ATIA can enter the show for $325, while virtual registration for the expo will be $300. Members of the ATIA who are students can attend the convention for free. A complete schedule of the conference’s activities can be viewed on the ATIA’s website.
